Pre-Owned 2000 Honda S2000 Base

This 2000 Honda S2000 is available at Ocean Honda Milford, and it is exactly the kind of car that reminds you how good Honda was at doing more with less. The formula is beautifully pure: a naturally aspirated 2.0L VTEC four-cylinder, a six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, and a torque-sensing limited-slip differential. No oversized screen, no fake drama. Just a two-seat roadster built around an engine that wants to rev and a chassis designed to keep up with it.

CARFAX shows just two personal owners, with the first keeping the car for more than 18 years and the second for more than seven. That kind of long-term ownership history feels especially right on an S2000. This one spent the overwhelming majority of its life with two owners rather than bouncing from lot to lot. It is the sort of history that makes an enthusiast stop scrolling and look closer.

The cabin is peak turn-of-the-century Honda in the best possible way. Leather bucket seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum shift knob, aluminum pedals, and digital instrumentation put the focus exactly where it belongs. There is air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, HID headlights, AM/FM/CD audio, and a power soft top, but none of it distracts from the point. The shifter, steering, and engine are the entertainment system.

6-SPEED MANUAL, REAR-WHEEL DRIVE, VTEC, LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIAL, DOUBLE-WISHBONE SUSPENSION, POWER SOFT TOP, LEATHER, HID HEADLIGHTS.

Key features include the 2.0L DOHC 16-valve VTEC four-cylinder, six-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, torque-sensing limited-slip differential, independent double-wishbone suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, leather bucket seats, power soft top, HID headlights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum shift knob and pedals, digital instrumentation, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, and dual exhaust outlets.
